I still have two years to actually decide what I want to do after I graduate from dear old Flagler in December 2010... but my roommate Amy has been talking about it because she is going to graduate in April 2009. Here are the ideas I have been tossing around lately on this subject...
-stay in St. Augustine (I will until May 2011)
-move back to Lakeland (which could lead to Southeastern for Master's)
-go to graduate school at UF to get M.ED.
-take online classes for Masters
-seminary school maybe?
-substituting/para-educator/teacher job
-any job
-part/full time missions
-get married and do any or none of the above
Those are pretty much every which direction I could and can take, but God has something in store for me, and I am sure when the time gets closer, I will know which path to take.

pet peeve
one of my number one pet peeves is when someone makes fun of another person's culture. and it has been happening here in 15 hope street. every time Charry starts talking in Korean, Amy is always like, oh she's speaking in gibberish again.. or when she cooks food she is like oh it is so stinky and she says all this crap and has no respect for the actual culture of Korea. i am really tired of it and i have been here only since Sunday. i have been hearing about it from Ashley. i think she needs to keep her comments to herself and if it keeps happening she will not like me anymore because i will say something. i really hope she goes with Daniel because i will not be able to put up with her all day stuck inside.

Ephesians 2:1-10
Ephesians 2
Made Alive in Christ
1As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of wrath. 4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.Posted by Melissa at 12:09 AM 0 comments

Bible Verse Time
I love you, LORD; you are my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior.
Psalm 18:1-2
Without God, I am really nothing. I try to live my life as a living testimony to others. My actions show who I am. Tonight, Pastor Phil talked about choices (more about this later in another blog) but I, as a Christian, have the choice to choose good or bad. A choice to choose God or the world. My God is my strength. He helps me through all. He directs my path. He has designed a path, that is a narrow way, but it is a life that He wrote for me. He is my rock, my fortress, my savior. I have to be wise and build my house on a solid rock, which is Jesus. He will help me withstand the storms of this life. They may blow and try to knock me down, but I will conquer them all through Him. He protects me like a fortress. And He is my Savior. He has saved me from a life without Him. He has created me in His image! This is why I love Him!
The Lord is my hope!
